2020 Generator Accelerator Teams
We are thrilled to introduce you to the successful teams for this year’s Monash Generator Accelerator program!
10 teams have been selected from over 135 applications, representing the diversity of innovation and game-changing ideas emerging from the Monash community.
The teams comprise 16 founders represented by current students, Research Fellows, Monash staff members, and alumni of Monash. From groundbreaking asthma biotech, to no-code software leveling the website building landscape, to game-changing Dementia support tech, and all-natural American style dill pickles — each team was selected for its commitment to making a considerable impact.
The first week kicked off with an induction focussed on developing good habits to help them navigate the complex path of solving problems in a commercial way. As part of the 2020 program, all founders are also supported with mindfulness and wellbeing training, a recognition of the need to have a healthy mind and body to excel as a leader.
The Accelerator Program will run over two months where founders will work on building and scaling their projects to become sustainable and impactful businesses. They are supported by Head of Startup Programs Megan Flamer, Entrepreneurs In Residence, Alan Jones and Jordan Thurgood, and a raft of experienced mentors and experts in business.
